Worthless Protesting
I am positive that a lot of people will disagree with inspiration for drawing this illustration. Matter of fact I don't even like my nihilistic attitude. However I am positive that I am not wrong.
I've been following the Occupy Wall Street protests and I keep asking myself "why." Why are they doing this? What good is it going to accomplish. A year from now is anything going to change? Hell six weeks from now is anything going to be different? NO! It won't matter.
Nothing is going to change until this country experiences a serious revolution. Not just any revolution, but a revolution that over throws the government and returns true power to the people. This government is controlled and owned by major corporations that corrupt our government. And it is the duty of the people to take control of the government when it is corrupted. No man or woman can ever be truly free until there is no power or control over the people.

Initially, it changed the conversation, from the debt ceiling, to jobs, to high student debt, to general injustice towards the working class. However, it has declined a bit recently. It's been taking over from being a sort of rallying center for every problem of the working class, to a reformist movement focusing on the white male cis-gender middle class, claiming any other problem is "to divisive."
